Located in the Alanya district of Antalya, Damlataş Cave was discovered by chance in 1948. The cave was found inside a quarry that was opened to be used in the construction of the port. At the entrance of the cave, visitors are greeted by a 50-meter passage. This passage opens into a cylindrical space measuring 15 meters in height. After this gap, it is descended to the floor of the cave. The stalactites and stalagmites of the cave are found in semi-crystalline limestone and were formed in 15 thousand years.

One of the most interesting features of Damlataş Cave is where its name comes from. The cave was named "Damlataş" because of the water drops dripping from the stalactites.
