Your morning begins gently as our driver collects you from your Alanya hotel and brings you down to the lively harbour beneath the ancient castle. As the boat eases away from the quay, the town's red-tiled rooftops and the Seljuk fortress shrink behind you and the open Mediterranean opens up in shades of turquoise and deep blue. The salt breeze, the cry of gulls and the gentle hum of the engine set the tone for an unhurried day on the water.
Once we reach the productive fishing grounds offshore, the crew hands out rods, baits your hook and shows you exactly how the locals work these waters. You drop your line into the clear depths and wait for that unmistakable tug, whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned angler chasing sea bream, mackerel or whatever the day brings.
