Your day begins with a friendly morning pickup from your Alanya hotel, where our air-conditioned vehicle is waiting to carry you away from the coast and up into the green Taurus Mountains. As the road climbs, the beach resorts give way to banana plantations, citrus groves and quiet stone villages, and your guide shares stories of mountain life while the air grows cooler and fresher with every bend.
At Sapadere Canyon you step onto a wooden boardwalk that hugs the cliff face, leading you deep between sheer rock walls hundreds of metres high. The path follows the rushing stream past small cascades until it opens onto emerald pools fed by an icy waterfall, where you can wade in for an unforgettable, breath-catching swim. The shade, the roar of the water and the sheer scale of the gorge make this one of the most dramatic natural spots in the whole Alanya region.
Afterwards we descend to the cool valley of the Dim River, where lunch is served on floating wooden platforms set right over the clear, fast-flowing water; you can dangle your feet beneath the table while you enjoy fresh grilled trout. With free time to relax by the riverbank, sip Turkish tea or visit the nearby Dim Cave, the day winds down gently before we drive you back to your hotel, sun-kissed and refreshed with memories of mountain canyons and cold river water that will tempt you back again.
